Freight Executive

Requirements:
1. Candidate must have at least 2-3 years experience in logistics or freight forwarding industry.
2. Minimum diploma holder in Logistics/Shipping Managemet/Business Admin.
3. Good communication skills with a strong command of English language.
4. Must be computer literate, able to keep records and provide reports.
5. Well versed in shipping documents e.g. Bill of Lading.

Job scope:
1. Resposible for managing international freight movements for exports and imports in sea freight shipments. Managing shipments from origin to destinations.
2. Coordination of shipment activities across departments.
3. Attending to customers needs and enquiries on sea and air freight services. Updating customers on shipments status.
4. Sourcing for freight rates  and schedules from shipping lines, negotiating freight rates. Preparing quotations to customers.
5. To prepare and check shipping documents like Bill of Lading.
