about the role:

Our client is looking to appoint Head of the Bridge Department who have strong Bridge design experience. You would be managing the high valued bridge projects and assist and drive the team in project execution.

The role requires a strong ‘hands on’ approach and the ability to apply professional engineering knowledge and experience to deliver particularly Cost Efficient Bridge/Rail Projects.

duties:

• Head the entire Bridge Department.


• Review and analyse design of bridge projects.


• Be involved in project management and authority liaisoning


• Ensure the project delivery is on time and within budget


• Manage multiple projects at a time.


• Work closely with civil/structural engineers and from various other disciplines and ensure all the regulations are met.

skills & experience:

• Must have over 15 years of Bridge Design experience.


• Work experience in LRT/MRT along with bridge consulting is most preferred.


• Must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or equivalent but Masters in Civil Engineering or equivalent is also preferred.


• Must be a Professional Engineer (Ir).


• Must have the authority of checking the drawings independantly.
