about the company:

Randstad is very pleased to be the recruitment partner of a very old prestigious multinational construction engineering firm in Malaysia. One of the oldest specialist in Pre-stressing, they are world’s specialist in prestressing, cable-stayed structures, construction methods and structural repair and maintenance.

about the role:

Our client is looking for candidates for the position of Structural Engineer. You would be responsible to develop and produce structural drawings for the various high rise, commercial and residential projects.

duties:

• Prepare structural design solution of schematic design and detailed design for the project


• Knowledge in evaluating structural drawings and specifications which are compliant with the local regulation, code and Malaysian practice.


• Carrying out his / her work in accordance with project schedule and coordinate execution of projects with other disciplines.

skills & experience:

• Must have over 2 years of experience in both Design and site.


• Must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or equivalent but Masters in Civil Engineering or equivalent is also preferred.


• Knowledgeable in local code of Practice related to Structural Works


• Good Interpersonal & Communication Skills.


• Must be willing to travel.


• Candidates with one year of experience are also encouraged to apply.


• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
