Application Engineer

Responsibilities:
• Perform research, analysis, design, test and development of new and existing application system
• Gather and analyse end user’s requirement and come out with solution
• Perform System Integration Testing for new release enhancement
• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and training
• Train users to use applications and roll out to production and document user procedures
• Constantly updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses and accessing new applications
• Remotely troubleshoot the problems with offsite offices as and when required
• Recognizes and takes action when escalation and de-escalation is required for critical and urgent cases and follow designated procedures
• Participate in project activities based on assigned project role
• Maintain adherence to defined standards, policies and procedures
• Provide weekly status report on work progress
• Perform other task that may assigned from time to time

Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
• At least 2 to 3 years of working experience, preferably in Hospitality or Loyalty System industry
• Technical Skills : .net (ASP, c#), jQuery and javascript
• Experience in Web or Mobile Application Development would be an added advantage but not compulsory
• Database : MSSQL
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to change
• Basic knowledge in Programming and System Development Life Cycle
• Customer and results oriented
