COMPUTER SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

As a support technician, you will required to provide support for a wide range of technical issues relating to the home and small business markets. This posts involves performing troubleshooting of issues relating to hardware, operating systems and applications and providing an approriate level of advice on technical issues to a non technical audience.

Accountabilities
 
 
o   Resolve technical issues with customer’s PC’s, server or peripheral devices.            This will involve having a good working knowledge of:
·    Microsoft operating systems
·     PC hardware
·     Common peripherals devices such as printers, scannersinternet routers etc.
·     Internet technologies
·     Common office applications
o   Be able to work on your own initiative
o   Provide advice or customer training when necessary
o   Keep all technical records up to date
