Internship for Accounting Students

We are looking for Accounting/Finance interns for the following 2 departments:

(1) Internal Audit Department
Responsibilities:
• Minimum 3-6 months internship.
• Assist in continuous risk based audit assignments and any other tasks assigned.
• Perform audit procedures including documenting client processes and procedures, developing criteria, reviewing and analysing evidence, conducting interviews and prepare working papers to ensure comprehensive auditing in accordance with laid down audit processes to meet audit objectives.
• Assist to identify, develop and document audit issues and recommendations to ensure improvement in controls & procedures.
• Assist to perform follow-up on the agreed resolutions / action plans for all audit findings as recorded in the exit meeting minutes for each audit assignment to ensure the audit findings are resolved on a timely basis.

(2) Finance Department
Responsibilities:
• Minimum 3-6 months internship with Finance Department.
• Exposure to preparation of full set of accounts using computerised accounting software.
• Maintain accounting records and handle basic administrative duties to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and accounting principles.
Requirements:
• Candidate must possess or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Kuala Lumpur (Wisma Genting).
• 1 Internship position(s) for duration of 3 month(s).
