Head of Science - International School in Malaysia


Contract: 2 Years (renewable)


An International School in Malaysia is looking for a Head of Science.


Your role is to uphold the School’s Vision, Mission and Core Values.


You will lead, plan and teach the Sciences across the Secondary section of the School up to A Level in the area of expertise (preferrably Physics).


In addition you will be expected to teach Key Stage 3/IGCSE in non-specialist Science subjects (Biology & Chemistry).

REQUIREMENTS


Teach Key Stage 3/IGCSE in non-specialist Science subjects (Biology & Chemistry).


To lead, plan and teach the Sciences across the Secondary section of the School up to A Level in the area of expertise (preferrably Physics)


Sound knowledge of IGCSE and A Level.


To lead a team of staff


To deliver INSET/training to staff as part of the CPD programme.


Knowledge and practice of the National Curriculum for England, curriculum development


Manage a budget effectively.
