Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities:

Seeking a diverse Payroll Specialist with multi-country payroll experience. The ideal candidate must have payroll experience with 2 or more of the following countries, Korea, Malaysia, S. Vietnam, New Zealand, Singapore and/or Australia. This Payroll Specialist will be responsible for payroll report analysis and processing payroll. Proficiency in Excel is mandatory. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for providing payroll services to our Greater Asia employee base. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for assisting with the efficient operation of the company’s payroll functions in some or all of these countries. The ideal person must be able to take direction but also work independently and professionally. Candidates must have excellent attention to detail and communication skills in English. Proficiency in Korean, Vietnamese and/or Chinese will be desirable. 

Administer computerized multi-state payroll system for all company associates in some or all of the following countries Korea, Malaysia, S. Vietnam, New Zealand, Singapore and/or Australia, including the preparation, processing, and transmission and/or interface to and from outside payroll provider
Download and verify payroll reconciliations for federal, state and local tax filings, quarterly filings, and other filings as legally required or appropriate for these payrolls
Maintain accurate payroll records for all associates, ensuring regulatory compliance at all times; conduct audits as required
Compile, prepare, and ensure accuracy of information for various reports/billings as required
Collaborate with other HR teams to ensure accurate payroll deductions and benefits
Meet established report deadlines
Assist in communication of pertinent information to associates regarding payroll or program changes
Assist Payroll Manager with daily activities and special projects as assigned, including compilation of data, data analysis and report preparation/generation
Provides outstanding payroll services support
Generates on-demand payments as requested
General knowledge of payroll journal entries and tax filings to support third party vendors
Maintain metrics

Requirements:
Minimum 3 – 5 years payroll experience processing manual or computerized payrolls for 2 or more of the following countries: Korea, Malaysia, S. Vietnam, New Zealand, Singapore and/or Australia; ADP preferred. 
Strong communication skills in English with emphasis on outstanding customer service
Preferred qualifications include payroll outsourcing experience
