The Company

Client is an institution which provides holistic financial services and banking facilities such as savings activities, banking services, loan facilities, insurance coverage and advisory services

The Role

Client is currently searching for a Section Head, Product Research & Development,to be part of their exciting team. You will report to the Head of Department.

Duties

• Analyse market trend and customer needs in order to promote products or services on a more value added approach.


• Monitor, supervise and guide the activities under PRD including;


• Gathering and analysing feedback from sales, marketing and operations on the strategic vision for existing products and development of new products.


• Preparation of business proposals and obtaining necessary approvals i.e Shariah Committee, MRC, ALCO, BRMC etc.


• Attend to Audit issues.

Skills & Experience

• Min 5 years experience in banking product development


• Must have experience in Islamic products


• Strong knowledge of banking product


• Basic knowledge and understanding in Shariah concepts requirement


• Good management and organisational skills
