Randstad is currently partnering with a Multinational company that provides consulting & managed services and SI, hi-tech transactional services, cloud and cybersecurity services

About the Role

Client is looking for someone who is competent to work on complex assignment (including large/ complex systems) and perform a full range of activities related to engineering and supporting a large scale UNIX and Windows backup and recovery infrastructure.

Duties

• Engineer and support EMC Networker and EMC Avamar backup infrastructure consisting of >4000 UNIX and Windows servers.


• Engineer and support Netapp Snapshots and Netapp OSSV type backups.


• Engineer and support EMC Data Protector reports.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 – 7 years of progressively responsible related technical experience.


• + 3 years UNIX systems administration experience (Solaris and/or HPUX).


• + 3 years experience with one of the major backup software packages (ie: EMC NetWorker, Veritas, TSM) required;


• EMC Networker, EMC Avamar and EMC Data Protector experience is preferred.


• Netapp Snapshots & OSSV experience is preferred.


• Perl or Shell scripring
