about the role:

Our client is looking to hire a very senior Highway Design Specialist for the position of Lead / Associate Highway Engineer. You would be responsible for managing the Highway department.

duties:

• Manage the Highway department.


• Review and analyse the detailed design of Highway projects.


• Coordinate and supervise a wide variety of Highway related projects and oversee projects from the start to the finish.


• Schedule and coordinate the project related work in order to meet the design specification.


• Ensure the project delivery is on time and within budget


• Requires to deal with Authorities and clients.


• Check and endorse the bridge design and drawings.

skills & experience:

• Must have over 12-15 years of experience in Highways Design.


• Must possess construction supervision experience along with detailed design work.


• Must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or equivalent but Masters in Civil Engineering or equivalent is also preferred.


• Must be a registered Professional Engineer.


• Site experience is very much preferred.


• Able to manage and lead the team, hence possessing good team management skills.
