Our client is a global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of industrial packaging. The company is an MNC organization that the headquarters based at U.S. The company is currently expanding its business in Malaysia and looking outstanding Maintenance Engineer to join them

about the role

It’s a permanent position that based at Petaling Jaya. The work required you to work from 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. You are responsible for provide efficient solutions to the development of processes and products. You will be heading a team of 9 and managing the daily workflow. You will be trained to become Engineering Manager.

duties

• To ensure all factory machineries and utilities are in optimal condition at all times.


• Planning, organising, leading, and controlling the maintenance department.


• To perform and ensure preventative maintenance activities are in accordance with planned schedule.


• Establish developing plan for maintenance skill matrix


• To manage maintenance spare parts and tools inventories


• To achieved assigned maintenance & operation KPI’s and meeting the maintenance budget.


• To provide work direction to outside contractors and ensure all the activities are conform to the procedure, technical standard and safety.


• Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requested as assigned.


• Adherence to ISO 9001 practice and company’s safety rules & regulation.

skills & experience

• Successfully candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical and Electronics engineering.


• At least 8 years of experience in related field is required for this position. Experience in Manufacturing Industry will be added advantage.


• Candidate must well versed in English, Malay, Mandarin and Cantonese due to the client base.


• Must have preventive maintenance experience.


• Experience in trouble shooting and good analytic skill.


• Must have good leadership and people skill.


• Experience in PLC (Siemens).


• Able to work independently and self –motivated.
