Our client is THE lsrgest Chinese building construction company in now in Malaysia and they have secured some of the most ICONIC projects in the golden triangle in Kuala Lumpur. These projects are known to attract some of the top investors from around Malaysia and have some of the best teams working on it.



the role


Reporting to the Head of Health and Safety, you are tasked with the overall health and safety implementation on site. You must have a valid GREEN BOOK and experience with projects more than 50 stories in height.


skills & responsibilities


•To ensure compliance by staff and sub-contractor workers to the JKKP safety rules, regulations and requirements.
•To monitor the site overall daily safety observation and inspection of staff’s compliance to JKKP rules, regulations and requirements and taking immediate rectification of unsafe act/ unsafe condition encountered.
•To prepare/ review Safety and Health SOP, S&H Project Plan, Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Control, and monitor the implementation and enforcement of safety issues on site.
•To organise scheduled inspection on equipment/ machinery to monitor condition and compliance to the project site safety and health requirements.
•To carry out accident investigation and prepare written report(s) with recommendations and action plans to prevent reoccurrence.
•To impose and issue summon(s) for non-compliance of safety committed by sub-contractors
•To guide, instruct and supervise the duties of the Safety Officer(s)/ Site Supervisor(s)
•Prepare and submit Safety Monthly Reports.
•Maintain a systematic filing system for quick reference and retrieval of important documentation during inspection by JKKP.
•To assist the Project Manager with safety matters during liaison with JKKP.



  • 7 – 9 years working experience in Safety

  • Must be an active Green book holder

  • Able to read and write in English and Malay

  • MUST have worked on High Rise Projects

  • Strong references in your HSE skills needed
