We are urgently looking for an Production Manager – Business Ops for one of the top European based HVAC manufacturer in Malaysia. This position needs super urgent attention.

Location: Bangi, Selangor
Reporting to: Head of Engineering
Team size: 60 – 80 pax

the role

Responsible for the management and coordination of plant operations including machining, product assembly and maintenance consistent to improve the company’s performance in quality, inventory and throughput.

  Initiative plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital. Assure attainment of business objectives and productions schedules while insuring product standards that will exceed our customers’ expectations in term of Quality and Delivery.

  Implement manufacturing strategies and action plans to ensure that the facility supports company’s strategic initiatives.

  
  


• 
  

  Establish group and individual accountabilities throughout assigned departments for problem solving and cost reduction, both on a permanent and ad-hoc basis, depending on need.

  Encourage use of continuous improvement techniques and focus on fact based problem solving.

  
  


• 
  

  Improve manpower utilization within existing departments and processes. Schedule stability that allows for maximum return on efficiencies.

  
  

the requirement

Min 7 years experience in hard good manufacturing with 4 years of supervisory/managerial experience in HVAC industry.

High energy level required.

Strong leadership skills, independent thinking, strong organizational and planning abilities and

excellent analytical and problem solving skills are essential.
