Randstad is proud to be associated with one of the leading Multinational Clients in Singapore and Malaysia for seeking a highly experienced civil engineers possessing a strong background in Readymix and Precast for the position of Business Development Manager to be based in Malaysia.

Our client has been one of the leading producers of sustainable solutions and materials for Automotive, Building & Construction, Energy & Power, Refractories & Ceramics and many more sectors across the world. With their presence of over 100 years, they are now looking forward to expanding their operations & sales for Building & Construction section in Malaysia.

About the Role:

Reporting directly to the Managing Director of the APAC region, the position of Business Development Manager is new addition to the Malaysian operation and would initially be based in a home office environment with the entire support of the company.

The role will be responsible for the promotion of the Company’s construction chemical products. The company’s clients will be a mixture of Readymix companies, Endusers and precast companies. The role will require an independent and creative person who can build a business in its initial stages and work independently in a greenfield sales environment.

Duties:
Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Promote Company construction chemical products


• Develop new and maintain existing customer relationships with Precast and Readymix companies


• Seek customers in company’s target markets through research and direct contact with potential customers.


• Collaborate with company management to prepare and implement the company’s business plans and growth strategies


• Track and report current status of potential projects, markets, customer news and developments

Skills

A self starter with commercial acumen and sales ability Excellent use of English language for written and verbal communications. Managing and Measuring Work Excellent project management skills Pro active, ambitious and career driven

Qualification

Bachelor’s in Civil / Structural engineering is essential.
Minimum 10 years of civil engineering in delivering commercial projects with hands on experience in readymix, pre-cast concrete, concrete admixtures or other building materials.
