Group Finance Manager - Kuala Lumpur

Duties & Responsibilities


  • Oversee the daily operational activities and managing the month end closing process including budgeting and forecasting.

  • Ensure timely closing and submission of monthly management accounts and quarterly consolidated group accounts

  • Ensure compliance with tax and accounting standards

  • Ensure timely submission of property management reports and other reports

  • Ensure compliance with Group Standard Operating Procedures and policies

  • Ensure timely submission of Annual statutory audits, corporate tax and GST filings

  • Monitoring of compliance with bank loan covenants and liaise with the lenders where required

  • Prepare annual budget and re-forecast

  • Monthly cash flow forecast and cash requisition

  • Review, improve and implement internal controls procedures and work flow

  • Liaise with corporate secretarial firms, tax consultants and auditors

  • Assist in acquisition and disposition of Malaysia assets where required

  • Assist in treasury management of the group

Skills & Experience


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Business and/ or professional accounting qualification (ACCA/ CPA/ MICPA/ equivalent)

  • At least 10 years of relevant working experience

  • External audit experience would be an added advantage

  • Good communication skills

  • Adaptable and flexible

  • Pro-active attitude towards work

  • High level of professionalism, integrity and a good team player
