Account Receivable Manager - Petaling Jaya, SGR
Job Description
This job role covers activities such as contract audit and registration, order, backlog management, inventory updates, billing, basic contract/agreement preparation, hourly service invoicing, gatekeeper, customer master record, business partner fee payment processes, routing points and end-to end transactions. People in this role are responsible to maintain client relationships by supporting the fulfillment process, taking ownership of problem resolution in this process, accurately handling processing/transaction requirements, applying effective research techniques, and promoting client satisfaction and sales productivity. Execute defined fulfillment processes, in line with business controls and meet business objectives.” Activities may also include functioning as an integration point to align ISC and brand strategies, and Order to Cash Integration, interfacing with each brand/business unit.- Execute defined A/R processes, in line with business controls and business objectives.- Manage AR collection risk for the accounts across AP (ASEAN, ANZ, and/or Hong Kong & Taiwan)- Leverage industry best practices to meet collection targets and minimize collection loss.- Identify and develop innovative solution and procedures to enhance operational capability.- Collaborate with other IBM business units and support function resources (e.g. legal, procurement, finance etc.) to achieve AR collection targets.- Lead a team of Accounts Receivable specialists with the following responsibilities : – Closely follow up and collect outstanding payments and late payment fees promptly – Carry out collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines – Accounts reconciliations. – Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities – Generate age analysis and reports – Provide AR data for credit risk analysis Investigate, manage and resolve complex collection issues and customer disputes. Organizing a recovery system and initiate collection effortsRequire Non Technical Skill:Strong Leadership and People Management Skills, Communication, Team Player, Initiative.
