We have opportunities specifically focused on working up to Wealth Managers from a BDM (Business Development Manager) by generating business and leads for Senior Wealth Managers with whom you will work in partnership with. They have successfully grown business areas and teams and wish to continue the healthy expansion and promote from within opportunities in various locations across the UAE and Far East Asia. Junior level people for Junior level positions opening up the chance for a structured career path in to the lucrative Wealth Management arena within an independent firm of advisors providing unbiased advice into, amongst others, the English speaking Expat market place.

Currently you will ideally be a graduate with a desire to be involved in this market and looking to move out to the UAE – Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Dubai or Far East – Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines etc It is ideal that you have some work experience in a sales environment – telephone based, working in a team, dealing with clients. OR you may be at the stage of your career as a Sales Coordinator, Sales Administrator, Paraplanner, Business Development or Telesales within a Financial services environment – possibly taken some form of industry accreditation and now seek a move where you can see your career path and appreciate your potential.

The successful candidates will need to demonstrate the following:

– Tenacity, determination, drive, resilience, empathy and self-motivation

– be able to work in a team (including in partnership with a Senior Wealth Manager), be methodical in your approach and have a ‘can-do’ attitude

– Some form of sales related UK based work experience coupled with a degree (ideally) or have already started a career within in the Financial Services arena – this is a must to demonstrate your chosen career path

– Excellent verbal and written native English communication skills (the clients are English speaking Expats)

– you must be already considering a move to the UAE or Far East or overseas and wish to explore the options more – (you must understand the level of personal investment such a move requires)

In summary you are likely to be in your 20s, have started your work experience in the UK possibly relative to the above, be based either in the UK now or locally and ready to commit to the next stage of your career in Wealth Management.
