Sales Consultant / Team Lead


The Sales Consultant’s role is to promote and sell gym memberships to prospective customers through a relationship-based approach, as well as to demonstrate our services to potential customers to help them select the membership best suited to their needs.


Specifically, his, or her, responsibilities are:


  • Presenting Fitology in a structured professional way, face-to-face

  • Gathering market and customer information

  • Understanding customer requirements and positioning Fitology’s offerings to make a sale

  • Relationship building

  • Conducting gym tours

  • Following up on prospects

To be successful in this role, the Consultant must:


  • Be an individual who communicates well and have a “customer-first” attitude. Excellent verbal and written English, are important, as is the ability to present in a professional and logical manner;

  • Have outstanding organisational skills and able to learn on the fly;

  • Able to sell “ice to eskimos”;

  • Possess strong work ethics and integrity.

A degree in a relevant field is an advantage, but, more importantly, the Sales Executive must possess sound sales and marketing skills. As we are a centre that promotes the health and fitness of others, the Exec must be an individual who is physically fit him/herself, and keep up-to-date with global developments in fitness and health.
