About the company

Our client is an integrated infrastructure developer with various projects and development in countries such as the United Kingdom, Singapore, Indonesia, China and Japan.

Qualifications

• 
  

  Must hold a degree in Quantity Surveying, or equivalent

  
  


• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a managerial role


• 
  

  Will be commercially astute with extensive knowledge of contract conditions and law across all disciplines involved in the construction process.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience in Coal Fired Power Plant is a must.

  
  

About the role:

• 
  

  To be responsible for the contractual and legal relationship with the client, subcontractors and suppliers in conjunction with the Project and Finance Directors.

  
  


• 
  

  To have organisational skills and leadership qualities to be responsible for the Contract Officers on the Project.

  
  


• 
  

  To resolve commercial and contractual disputes with the Contractors, Consortium members, or Client.

  
  


• 
  

  Management of commercial performance and the verification of achieving project payment milestones.

  
  


• 
  

  To comply with all procedures to claim milestone payments from the Client in good time.

  
  


• 
  

  To support the authorisation and submission of project variations.

  
  


• 
  

  To authorise the placement of contracts, subcontracts, material and plant orders
