About the company


Randstad is currently partnering a software vendor with the headquarters is based in Europe and has offices worldwide. The products are used by telecommunications service providers to commercialize and analyze activity on their network.


About the role


To be responsible for the documentation, training material and help content is updates in line with the new product feature for the end-user across the software products, as well to work hand in hand with the engineering team during the agile development.


Duties


  • to manage and track the progress task

  • writing, reviewing and editing documentation

  • To ensure the consistency of the implementation guides

  • Scoping and planning of task development within a set time line of the software lifespan

  • Examines the variance audience on technical topic with engineers and to detect areas for improvement

  • Provide feedback and updates of work to the management

Skill & Experience


  • preferable a Post-Grad in Technical Writing or Computer Science

  • minimum of 5 year experience in Leading a Technical Writing Team in a software development environment, someone with a telecommunication background would be preferred

  • has experience in leading a team on a software development

  • strong knowledge in topic based authoring system such as D.I.T.A and content reuse

  • knowledge in DITA / XML based document system, source control such as SVN / CVS

  • knwledge in working on a Agile Softwar

  • Additional skill / experience ;


    • graphic design / photoshop

    • scripting languages / programming

    • telecommunication industry knowledge as well as Microsoft Visio
