Our client is a Government Link Company (Oil and Gas) operating throughout the world and currently one of the largest company in Malaysia. The company are currently seeking an individual to fill the role of Executive – Sales. This company are consistently expanding their portfolio and this is a very unique opportunity in Malaysia which will elevate your career.


about the role


It’s a permanent position that based at Kuala Lumpur. The work required you to work from 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Department, you will be responsible to take care of the current account, and developing new account with the help of your superior and the technical team.


There will be 2 types of sales to cater:


  • business to business (B2B)

  • business to customer or consumer (B2C)

duties


  • listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale

  • maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails

  • cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business

  • acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets

  • negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales

  • gathering market and customer information;

  • negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers

  • reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets

  • gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements

skills & experience



  • has pervious experince working in oil and gas industry will be added advantage.

  • the ability and desire to sell

  • the candidate must have 1-3 years sales experince.

  • must posses diploma/degree in any related field

  • excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia

  • a positive, confident and determined approach

  • resilience and the ability to cope with rejection

  • a high degree of self-motivation and ambition

  • the skills to work both independently and as part of a team

  • the capability to flourish in a competitive environment
