Early Years Year Leader - International School in Malaysia
Contract: 2 Years (renewable)
An International School in Malaysia is looking for an Early Years Year Leader. You will lead a team of teachers and assistant teachers. One of your roles is to support class teachers in delivering the Early Years Curriculum.
You will monitor the ‘impact on learning’ within the Early Years and deliver INSET/training to staff. In addition you will oversee planning and delivery and assist the School with developing Early Years provision.

Malaysia is a South-east Asian country occupying the Malaysian Peninsula and part of the island of Borneo. It’s known for its beaches, rainforests and mix of Malay, Chinese, Indian and European influences. The sprawling capital, Kuala Lumpur, is home to colonial buildings, busy shopping districts such as Bukit Bintang and skyscrapers including the iconic, 451m-tall Petronas Twin Towers.
All experienced teachers who want to teach in Malaysia are welcomed.
REQUIREMENTS
Deliver INSET/training to staff as part of the CPD programme.
Knowledge of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) would be an advantage).
Possess excellent time management, communication and people skills.
To lead a team of staff
Sound knowledge and practice of the Early Years’ Curriculum for England
Familiar with current curriculum development and current educational thinking
Manage a budget effectively.
