The company
I am currently working with a select amount of established Malaysian and Multi-National construction companies who offer a wide range of infrastructure projects throughout Malaysia. At the moment one of my client is willing to bring on board new talent. They are specialized in construction for different kind of projects (power plant, factory, building, infra, jetty) in Malaysia.

The role

• Responsible for the full spectrum of project related matters. This will include but not limited to, quality and productivity management, verify of subcontractor claims, welfare of site personnel.


• To liaise with clients, contractors and local authorities of projects undertaken by the company.


• To monitor and make sure that all projects are performed in the most effective and efficient manner, identify new methodology and techniques of construction and recommend steps to prevent or minimize problems and hazards at sites.


• To review regularly all aspects of construction activities undertaken from implementation to completion of projects including final accounts and constantly ensure project cost is kept within budget.


• To review sub-contractors’ performance and evaluate progress of works and claims.


• To attend site meeting with contractors and clients


• To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instruction as relevant and required by the quality management system in order to strengthen the company’s position.


• To undertake any and all others duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the Management.

The experience
The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge within the Malaysian construction industry and must be able to show the following:

• Industry related Qualifications
• Proven experience as a successful Project Manager
• At least 10 years of experiences
• Be able to create and follow the planning
• A positive and proactive attitude
• Strong desire and motivation to build a career within the company
• Consistently hardworking, honest and being an integral part of a valuable team
• Civil engineering diploma
