About the Company

Our client is a leading brand in the provision of financial services and are currently recruiting for a Chief Risk Officer.

The Role

Client is currently searching for a Chief Risk Officer to lead the Risk Management Department in day ­to ­day operation. You will report to the Chief Operating Officer.

Duties

• Reporting into the CEO, you will be responsible for ensuring that each risk for the business is identified and managed appropriately by the relevant business units. You will also be responsible for establishing and monitoring a risk management strategy, risk policies, procedures and controls within the business that are related to different categories and are aligned to the overall business strategy.

Skills & Experience

• A related commercial degree or relevant professional qualification (CPA/CMA/ACCA etc)


• A minimum of 10 years commercial experience in risk management with exposure to internal controls in the financial services, banking or consulting industry


• Proven leadership skills


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills


• Good analytical skills with strong business acumen
