The Company


A reputable International Bank is seeking a committed Senior Compliance Officer to support the organization’s next phase of growth


The Role


The Senior Compliance Officer has the responsibility of managing and maintaining the organization’s obligations as it relates to the supervision and reporting of money laundering activities. He/she will be responsible for designing, evaluating, supporting, and influencing a culture of compliance throughout the organization, as well as assisting in the management and execution of an efficient compliance monitoring program.


Duties


  • Assists Head of Department to promote compliance with the AML/CFT laws and regulations

  • Acts as the reference point for AML/CFT matters within the Bank

  • Takes the lead in AML/CFT management, which includes conducting risk profiling and assessment, formulating policies and relevant controls and procedures.

  • Perform monitoring and reporting of suspicious transactions

  • Evaluates internal generated suspicious transaction reports prior submission to BNM

  • Organise AML/CFT training and awareness programs

  • Identification of money laudering and financing of terrorism risks associated with new products/ services or arising from operational changes

  • Handling enquiries from law enforcement agencies pertaining to investigation

Skills & Experience


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management/Business Administration or other related field

  • Minimum 8 year(s) working experience in Compliance (AML/CFT)
