Transport Manager

Company Overview
The company specialises in the logistics of the automotive industry.  The range of services provided includes Sea Transportation, Freight Forwarding, Land Transportation and Car Terminal.  It’s currently looking for a Transport Manager to oversee the car carrier and motorcycle carrier land transport operations, with a fleet of over 100 carriers/trucks.

Responsibilities:
·        Lead and oversee all transportation activities
·        Ensures day to day business are running smoothly and efficiently
·        Ensures that the company’s plan is followed in all aspects related to transportation management
·        Oversee deliveries, routes, load and schedules planning
·        Liaising with customers, communicating effectively and responding to their requirements.
·        Managing cost effectively
·        Manages all aspect of safety and staffs
·        Ensure compliance with all regulations and requirements.
·        Plan and implement new policies, standard operating procedures and Company initiatives
·        Responsible for budget and financial matters on transportation business
·        Continuously review and recommend areas of improvement for transport operation, processes, safety, staff management
·        Other ad-hoc assignments assigned from time to time
 
Requirements:
·        Diploma/Degree in related field
·        At least 6 years’ experience in the transport line with management experience
·        Experience in fleet management
·        Willing to work in Bukit Kemuning, Shah Alam
