Telemarketing Intern

General Purpose
Contact businesses and individuals by telephone in order to do research, gather information, verify details for the company.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
·         Explain the solution to potential customers
·         Adjust pitch to meet needs of specific individuals
·         Handle prospects’ questions
·         Obtain prospects’ information including names and addresses
·         Record prospects’ details including reaction to the solution offered
·         Obtain contact details of potential prospects from various sources
·         Schedule appointments for staff to meet prospects
·         Contact prospects to follow up on initial interaction
Education and Experience
·         Knowledge of marketing principles and strategies
·         Relevant work experience in sales, marketing, promotions or telemarketing
·         Proficiency in relevant computer applications
