I am currently looking for 2 x Senior Contracts Managers (KL & JB) to join a leading Main Contractor in their Mechanical & Electrical divsion – 2016 will be their biggest year on record with a T/O of 500m. They are currently looking after the Mechanical & Electrical installations on various Civil (MRT / LRT), Residential and Commercial buildings and need someone to head up the department (10 FTE) as soon as possible.

the role

As Senior Contracts Manager you will be responsible for the establishment of policies and procedures for the efficient performance of the Department. Identification of the labour needs for all projects, assign and monitor to ensure its effective utilisation; provide regular reports. Taking the lead in the execution and timely production of all projects except where specifically excluded, liaise with the Engineering Department.

skills & responsibilities

You will ideally come from a Quantity Surveying background with extensive experience in procurement, contract administration, management and M&E / HVAC projects / EPC. You will have around 20 years experience covering all aspects of pre and post contract administration and management. Formal qualifications in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying beneficial. Candidates from Specialist Sub contractors / Main Contractors or Consultancies considered.

culture & benefits

The salary is dependant on individual experience and abilities (RM12-16k). Along with a market leading basic salary, you will be given up t0 to 6 months bonus
