Duties

• As the development manager, you will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects.


• You should be the technical leader and motivator who is comfortable leading teams in a high-pressure, dynamic and environment.


• Interact with Product Management, Sales and other groups to deliver high quality outputs.


• You will lead a high performance team of software developer to design & develop high quality, scalable & reliable products and web services.


• You will be present on the entire product lifecycle – design, documentation, coding, testing and deployment.


• Expected to do scoping and scheduling processes for new products and features.


• Improve processes, technology & the applications you own continuously by showing the team better ways of doing things and help improve skills in the team.


• Prioritize tech-debt and ensure the platforms and applications meet the latest industry standards.


• Build platforms, frameworks , APIs, libraries & automated tools to facilitate rapid issue resolution and development & deployment of new features and changes.

Skills & Expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Technology, related technical discipline, or equivalent


• At least 6 year(s) of working experience in the related field with minimum 3 years managerial experience is required for this position.


• Strong programming capabilities : JAVA J2SE or J2EE, JSP (with knowledge of XML and OO Programming).


• Strong understanding of databases, caching, queueing, replication, load balancing and scalability : MYSQL, MSSQL, ORACLE DB programming.


• Knowledge of Object Oriented design principles


• Experience on Application, WEB and Database server installation and configuration.


• Familiarity with UNIX, LINUX, SOLARIS operating platform.


• Experience with implementing and using agile methodologies to deliver high quality output at the fastest possible time.


• Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work well in a diverse, team-focused environment with other Engineers, Product Managers, etc.
