Job Description
Worldwide leader in technology seeks an experienced Systems Management Specialist to join their local team.
One of the IBM pillars for successful business is to be informed as soon as possible of problems occurring on our clients systems. Our suite of monitoring tools allows us to pre-empt the client experiencing any impacts/outages.
The System Management Infrastructure (SMI) team, manage the monitoring infrastructure.
The job involves
- Updating wiki:
- Tracking Calendar Triggers across ALL SMI NZ Clients
- Perform Calendar Triggers for WNZL and Contact Energy
- Liaise with NZ based SME’s / assign tasks for Calendar Triggers (except WNZL and Contact Energy)
- Tracking PA’s and NCI’s across ALL SMI NZ Clients
- Request Extensions for PA’s and NCI’s as required (if not complete within 10 days of Due Date), in consultation with NZ based SME
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experienced & Skills in Linux/ Unix Command Line
- Excellent in verbal communication skills.
- Good English Language Communications
