Senior Contract Manager (Building & Civil) - Kuala Lumpur

Our client is a listed (mid sized) ISO accredited Main Contractor who has built a reputation for delivering high end condos, civil works, highways, major MRT & LRT projects and stations. With a 2bn project pipeline for 2016 our client is growing and offers security and fast track career progression.


the role


Reporting to the GM of Contracts and Procurement you will take charge of the Pre Contract and Tendering team – The GM is looking for a future successor so genuine career growth is available. This team is growing with 10 FTE. With multiple projects being awarded in the next few years our client will be bidding for MRT 2, DASH, LRT 3, DUKE packages as well as high rise condos and commercial projects.


skills & responsibilities


  • Experience bidding for and winning projects worth 200m+

  • Total work experience of 15-20 years.

  • Strong pre contract / tendering / bidding experience

  • Experience from mid sized contractors welcome

  • Ability it lead a team (up to 10)

  • Your current role may have broader pre and post contract experience but you will be passionate about specialising in the Pre Contract side

  • Potential to grow into a GM level position within 5 years

  • Degree in QS / Civil / Engineering / Building etc
