about the role

It’s a permanent position that based at Telok Panglima Garang. The work required you to work from 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. You are responsible in ensuring the optimization, harmonization and seamless execution of the business commercial demand and plant manufacturing supply for the business.

duties

• Lead the drive towards an optimized raw material and finished goods inventory holding via the implementation of process improvement projects.


• Review the daily and weekly Finished Good inventory holding and make any necessary changes/updates in ensuring fulfilment rates are sustained with minimum Out of Stocks (OOS).


• Facilitate the monthly sales & operations forecast meeting with forward action plans for continuous improvement with all relevant parties.


• Review the overall production capacity detailing and allocation within the company operations quarterly with Finance and Plant Manager.


• Oversee and review the detailing of the Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) preparation and its execution with the necessary forward 2-month RM holding targets


• Liaise with Regional Planning personnel on best practice sharing and adaptation.

• Oversee the generation of Weekly Production Schedule via the integration and facilitation with key relevant stakeholders.

skills & experience

• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Degree in Science , Business or any Engineering field.


• Preferably candidate with minimum five (5) years of working experience in Demand, Supply, Production Planning functions and specializing in manufacturing/production operations or equivalent.


• Strong knowledge and experience in production analysis, planning, strong analytical skills, strong facilitating skills and good problem solving skills.


• Must able to lead a team of supervisor and executive.


• Able to work independently and self –motivated.


• Able to speak well in English and Malay.
