The company

I am currently working with a select amount of established Malaysian and Multi-National construction companies who offer a wide range of infrastructure projects throughout Malaysia. At the moment one of my client is willing to bring on board new talent. They are specialized in bridge and building projects in Malaysia.

The role

You will be confident in your abilities and have prior, recent experience on large scale, high dollar value projects within Malaysia and have an up to date knowledge of the industry and the expectations involved. You will have to manage the construction.

Duties

• Plan and develop construction program for new project.


• Lead the project team to execute all construction activities within approved budget, project duration and within reauired quality standard.


• Liaise with the contract admin team to tender for new projects, awards of subcontracts, evaluation and submission of viariation claims.


• Close coordination with the consultants, and the internal technical support team to resolve all technical matters and requirements.


• Ensure the construction works are completed with minum defect and ensure defects are rectified or made food within he time stipulated in the contract.


• Prepapre regular management and projects reports.


• To organisze site progress meeting with site staff, contractors and consultant and provide timely report and feedback to the project manager.


• Implement department objectives, goals and procedure.


• Train and guide subordinate

Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge within the Malaysian construction industry and must be able to show the following:

• Industry related Qualifications (Civil Engineering)
• Proven experience as a successful Manager
• A positive and proactive attitude
• Hands-on person
• Consistently hardworking, honest and being an integral part of a valuable team
